Davide Benussi
PhD student at the Department of Statistical Sciences, University of Padova.
Welcome to my personal homepage! My research focuses on statistical inference, likelihood methods, and modern inferential challenges in complex models.
Research Interests
I am particularly interested in the theory and methods of statistical inference. My main topics of interest include:
Biography
I obtained both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Statistics at the Department of Statistical Sciences, University of Padova. My Master’s thesis was supervised by Prof. Alessandra Salvan and Prof. Nicola Sartori, who are also my PhD supervisors.
I spent the second year of my PhD as a visiting student at the University of Warwick, under the supervision of Prof. Ioannis Kosmidis. Our work has focused on methods for improved estimation and inference from parametric models and, in particular, their interplay with post-selection inference.
